By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Description of Service
Holda is an AI-powered caregiving companion designed to support caregivers of individuals with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia. The Service includes:
- AI chat companion for emotional support and practical guidance
- Educational content library
- Daily caregiving tips
- Community features (when available)
Important Disclaimers
- Not Medical Advice: Holda is not a healthcare provider. The information and support provided through the Service is for informational purposes only and should not be considered medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
- Not a Substitute for Professional Care: Always consult qualified healthcare professionals for medical decisions regarding your care recipient.
- Crisis Situations: If you or someone you know is in immediate danger, call 911. For mental health crises, contact the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline by calling or texting 988.
User Accounts
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
- You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service
- One person may not maintain more than one account
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to manipulate or exploit the AI system
- Share harmful, abusive, or misleading content in community features
- Attempt to access other users' data or accounts
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the AI models or algorithms
Subscription and Billing
- Free Tier: Basic features are available at no cost with usage limits
- Premium Subscription: $9.99/month or $79.99/year, with a 7-day free trial
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
- Refunds are handled according to the app store's refund policy
Intellectual Property
The Service, including all content, features, and functionality, is owned by Holda and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Educational content is provided for personal, non-commercial use only.
Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Holda shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
